During WWII, over 260,000 Filipinos risked their lives by joining the US Armed Forces. They were promised military benefits similar to that of the American soldiers, but the 1946 Rescission Act denied Filipinos of their right. This Act not only affected the soldiers, but their families as well. As of 2018, these veterans are still deprived of those rights that were promised to them over 70 years ago.
Come join us in advocating for the 18th Justice for Filipino American Veterans March on November 11th, 2018 at 10 AM at MacArthur Park in LA
